2026 SCHOLARSHIP PROGRAM


For students passionate about community and committed to becoming future leaders.

The Foundations’ scholarship program offers $53,000 in awards to help student-members take the next step in their education.
For the 2026-2027 academic year, applications will be accepted from January 20 through March 17, 2026.

Explore scholarship options, review eligibility, and apply by March 17, 2026.
Scholarship recipients will be announced by the end of May 2026.

Our scholarships

Peter J. Kavalauskas Memorial Scholarship

One (1) $5,000 scholarship awarded to an applicant who is dedicated to their academics and is planning to attend or currently attending a 2- or 4-year accredited program through a technical institute or vocational/trade school in fall of 2026.

Roger G. Marois & Bart M. Dalla Mura Memorial Scholarships

Two (2) $3,000 scholarships awarded to High School Seniors who have a strong GPA, volunteer regularly, and will attend a 2 or 4-year accredited college or technical school in fall 2026.

Philip W. Sullivan Memorial Scholarship

One (1) $5,000 scholarship awarded to a High School Senior in the top 25% of their class, who shows a high-level of commitment to extracurricular activities and plans to attend a 2 or 4-year accredited college or technical school in fall 2026.

Adult Achievement Scholarship

One (1) $2,000 scholarship awarded to an adult with a High School diploma or GED looking to further their education by planning to attend a 2- or 4-year accredited college or technical school in fall of 2026.

Nourish Scholarships

Ten (10) $2,500 scholarships awarded to High School Seniors who show a commitment to their community and academics and plan to attend a 2- or 4-year accredited college or technical school in fall of 2026.

Lighthouse Community Beacon Scholarship

One (1) $10,000 scholarship awarded to an applicant who is dedicated to their academics and creating meaningful change in their communities. This scholarship exclusively focuses on applicants pursuing a career that aligns with our mission to address critical needs in Housing, Food Insecurity and/or Education.

Important Information


Scholarship Eligibility Disclosure
The Lighthouse Credit Union Foundation Scholarship is open to student-members pursuing accredited programs at technical institutes, two- or four-year colleges and universities, as well as vocational and trade schools.

To be eligible, applicants must be members of Lighthouse Credit Union in good standing, as defined by Lighthouse Credit Union, at the time of application and award.

Eligibility will be confirmed at the time of review and prior to award. The Lighthouse Credit Union Foundation reserves the right to verify account standing before disbursing scholarship funds.

Tax Implications
Please check with your tax advisor. All tax responsibility belongs to the recipient.
